Super grains. We do not use any highly processed grains for our mixtures, but only the crème de la crème of grains. All basic ingredients are vegan raw food quality - they were not heated above 42 degrees and vitamins, minerals and enzymes are retained. For comparison: standard oat flakes are normally heated twice and thereby lose many of their nutrients. The mix of these four basic ingredients makes the porridge mixture so unique:

What ingredients are in the porridge?

  • Naked oats from Austria made from the whole grain: On average, they contain more unsaturated fatty acids than ordinary oats and are also rich in health-promoting antioxidants and the healthy fiber beta-glucan. Naked oats are particularly suitable for germination because the husk sits loosely around the grain and is therefore not damaged during threshing. 

  • Zollernspelz whole grain spelled from Germany: The pure spelled variety without wheat genes contains a whopping 17 g of protein per 100 g, making it one of the most protein-rich types of grain. It is also a very valuable source of protein because it contains all eight essential amino acids that the body cannot produce itself.

  • Golden millet from Poland: It is high in fiber, contains protein and contains a lot of beta-carotene, which can be converted into vitamin A in the body. 

  • Flaxseeds from Austria provide fiber and healthy omega-3 fatty acids. To be precise: 27 grams of fiber and 30 g of polyunsaturated fatty acids per 100 grams. Germination makes the valuable fatty acids more available. 

What are sprouted oats?

Super sprouts. The basic ingredients in our Super Porridge are sprouted. This means that the grains have been soaked in water. This process literally brings them to life: Not only does the sprout emerge, but certain plant hormones and enzymes are also activated, which develop true superpowers:

Is the sprouted porridge healthy?

Super nutrients. Certain substances in the grain, such as phytic acid, inhibit the absorption of the healthy nutrients and minerals of the little powerhouses. Germination declares war on nutrient thieves and effectively reduces them. The result: The bioavailability of calcium and magnesium, but also iron, zinc and other trace elements, increases. This makes sprouted grains and seeds real powerhouses.

Super macros. When they germinate, the complex macronutrients carbohydrates, proteins and fats are broken down into their individual building blocks - long-chain carbohydrates into short-chain carbohydrates, proteins into the individual amino acids and fats into their fatty acids. This means they can be better utilized and absorbed. What does that bring? Protein utilization is optimized and the grain is much easier to digest than ungerminated - hello, good gut feeling!

Great button. You can also taste germs! The germinated grain and the germinated linseed taste slightly sweet due to the breakdown of the starch. Good news for everyone who otherwise finds whole grains to be too intense: Our porridge doesn't taste as tart, isn't as bitter - but is slightly nutty.

Great performance. Sprouted grain is the optimal source of energy for athletes. The body doesn't have to waste time and energy digesting ungerminated grains, but can concentrate fully on the sporting challenges. Minerals such as magnesium are more available through the breakdown of phytic acid and help to remain productive. And our Super Porridge is also a good choice after a workout: the increased bioavailability of the anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids in linseed supports regeneration. Goodbye sore muscles!

Super fibre. Our Super Porridge is a source of indigestible fiber, which serves as food for health-promoting bacteria in the large intestine. Plus: A high fiber content in foods fills you up and has a balancing effect on blood sugar levels.

How do I cook the sprouted porridge?

If you want to add more variety to your breakfast game, you can buy sprouted porridge in three flavors. Isn't that enough variety for you? Then enjoy your first meal warm or cold as overnight oats.

As warm porridge:

  1. Mix 50g of porridge mixture per serving with 250 ml of plant-based milk in a pot and bring to the boil while stirring.

  2. Let the mixture simmer for five minutes while stirring.

  3. Fill Super Porridge into a bowl.

  4. Enjoy plain or with your favorite toppings.

Our tip: The more plant-based milk you use, the creamier the porridge will be and the longer we recommend you cook it.

As overnight oats (not just for raw food fans):

In the evening, mix 50 g of porridge mix with 100 ml of oat drink and leave to soak in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy the next morning with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruit or nut butter.
