With this recipe you start the day with lots of color, lots of fresh fruit, a portion of vegetables and lots of good toppings 💚
Our green smoothie bowl tastes wonderfully fresh and fruity thanks to pineapple, lime and coconut water, avocado and banana make it extra creamy and spinach and spirulina powder ensure the rich green color. In addition to lots of chlorophyll and vitamins, the algae spirulina also contains important amino acids that are essential for building and maintaining muscle. Believe us: it doesn't get any greener!
The best thing: you have your power breakfast in your bowl in just a few minutes. Oh, you green nine!
Ingredients for the green smoothie bowl (for one serving)
For the bowl
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 100 g frozen pineapple pieces
- ½ Avocado
- 1 handful of fresh baby spinach
- 1 TL green spirulina powder
- Juice of ½ lime
- approx. 100 ml coconut water
For the topping
- fresh strawberries
- chia seeds
- coconut flakes
preparation
- Mix all the ingredients for the smoothie bowl until creamy. Depending on the desired consistency, use a little more or less coconut water.
- Pour the green smoothie into a bowl, decorate with toppings and enjoy.
Remarks
Replace spirulina powder with chlorella, moringa, matcha or wheatgrass. None of the powders at home? Not tragic at all. Thanks to plenty of spinach and avocado, the bowl is a colorful eye-catcher even without any green powder.
