Add Brazil to your breakfast bowl, please! Coming immediately: This Açaí Superfood Bowl is vegan, refreshing and perfect for a light breakfast in the summer. We love the classic super berry with banana, guarana syrup, granola and peanut butter.
The secret to a really good açaí bowl lies – who would have thought – in the açaí. If you rely on dried açaí powder, you can mix as much of it into your bowl - the result will never be as good as a bowl with real açaí puree. We use our Wholey Açaí Drops for this: They consist of 100% organic Açaí fruit puree and are therefore vegan and free of additives. Made from the pulp of pure, aromatic fruits, the fruits are harvested at the peak of ripeness - that's why the drops taste so incredibly aromatic. By subsequently flash freezing, we ensure that the many nutrients in the purple berries are preserved.
By the way, the coffee machine can safely be left off this morning: Guarana syrup from the Amazon contains caffeine and is a natural energy booster. No guarana syrup ready? Sem problemas, the bowl is also really wonderful with agave syrup!
Ingredients for a classic Açaí Bowl
- 100 g Acai Drops
- 1 banana
- 50 g frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp Guarana syrup or agave syrup
- 50 ml plant drink, e.g. almond
For the topping
- 30 g Crunchy Granola Original
- 1 TL peanut butter
- a few fresh strawberries
- banana slices
preparation
- Puree the açaí drops, banana, blueberries, guarana syrup and plant drink in a blender until creamy.
- Put half of the granola in a bowl and pour the açaí smoothie over it. Top with the remaining granola, banana slices, fresh strawberries and peanut butter.
