This açaí bowl is ideal for a fit start to the day or as a refreshment after training: It provides lots of plant-based protein - without any protein powder. We rely on chickpeas and soy yogurt, which not only make the bowl rich in protein but also wonderfully creamy.
The açaí berries have a fruity, sweet and sour note and are also rich in vitamins and valuable antioxidants. Mix the bowl with soy or pea drink for additional protein and top the açaí bowl with berries, almond butter, granola, hemp seeds and coconut flakes.
Ingredients for a Protein Açaí Bowl
- 1½ bananas, frozen and sliced
- 100 g chickpeas, cooked
- 50 g raspberries, frozen
- 100 g Acai Drops
- 3 Medjool dates, pitted
- 100 g vegan Skyr yogurt (sugar-free)
- 50 ml plant drink (pea or soy)
Toppings:
- ½ banana, sliced
- fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon of brown almond paste
- 1 EL Crunchy Granola Chocolate Sea Salt
- 1 TL hemp seeds
- 1 TL shredded coconut
preparation
- Puree the banana slices, chickpeas, raspberries, açaí drops, dates, yogurt and plant-based drink in a blender until creamy. If necessary, add some more plant drink.
- Pour the açaí smoothie into a bowl and top with banana slices, granola, almond butter and hemp seeds.
