Banana porridge with almond toffee topping: vegan, easy & caramelized

Bananas are definitely one of our favorite ingredients for a super creamy yet pleasantly sweet porridge - without refined sugar, of course. veganen Porridge Rezept we go one better. In addition to the banana in the cereal porridge, there is a super creamy topping of dates together with our outrageously delicious almond paste.

also: 1 tsp. cocoa nibs or chocolate chips, chopped almonds

Preparation

  1. Bring Super Porridge with vegetable drink to a boil in a small saucepan. Mash the banana, stir into the porridge and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.
  2. Place all ingredients for the almond toffee topping in a blender and blend until creamy.
  3. Divide porridge between two bowls, top with toffee topping, cocoa nibs and chopped almonds and enjoy.

Note

The banana porridge is already very aromatic with the topping. Especially on cozy weekends, a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom brings welcome warmth to your breakfast bowl.
