Bananas are definitely one of our favorite ingredients for a super creamy yet pleasantly sweet porridge - without refined sugar, of course. veganen Porridge Rezept we go one better. In addition to the banana in the cereal porridge, there is a super creamy topping of dates together with our outrageously delicious almond paste.
Ingredients for 2 servings of banana porridge
- 100 g Super Porridge Original (alternative: oatmeal)
- 500 ml Plant drink
- 1 Banana
Ingredients for the almond toffee topping
- 2 Banana
- 3 large dates, pitted
- 1 Tsp Nussbutter Almond Candy
- ½ tsp ground vanilla
also: 1 tsp. cocoa nibs or chocolate chips, chopped almonds
- Bring Super Porridge with vegetable drink to a boil in a small saucepan. Mash the banana, stir into the porridge and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.
- Place all ingredients for the almond toffee topping in a blender and blend until creamy.
- Divide porridge between two bowls, top with toffee topping, cocoa nibs and chopped almonds and enjoy.
The banana porridge is already very aromatic with the topping. Especially on cozy weekends, a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom brings welcome warmth to your breakfast bowl.
