What has been the best moment in your career so far?
Winning the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
What is important to you in your diet?
In my diet, there are "discipline phases" in which I eat whatever helps my body to perform at its best, and "feel-good phases" in which I eat whatever I feel like at that moment. That's why I can't say I'm strictly vegetarian or vegan, because in the feel-good phases I also like to eat a juicy piece of meat from time to time. It's very important to me to live out these different phases to the fullest!
What do you do in your free time?
I love to spend time with my family and friends. What we do then is secondary.
How has Corona affected your everyday life as a competitive athlete?
The time has definitely intensified my dream of a home gym :-). Apart from that we got creative as a training group in lockdown and were able to train as before - with more mindfulness and in smaller groups.
