This is what makes our Hot Breakfast Bowls so special
Thanks to wholemeal flakes, the bowls are packed with filling fiber that will save you from the morning snack attack.
No burning, no boiling over, no stress in the early morning: the cereal and rice flake mixes are put together in such a way that they do not have to be laboriously cooked. How it works? Thanks to our unique Mylk composition of oat drink and coconut milk powder in the porridge, you just boil the bowls with water - and your favorite warm breakfast is ready.
Three of our six new bowls are based on wholemeal milk rice flakes in Demeter quality, the other three contain Oberkulmer red grain semolina and as a base come in different flavors - there is something for every taste: from the classic apple-cinnamon flavor to chocolate-banana, fruity raspberry-dragon fruit, to the oriental variant with apricot-pistachio.
With these four steps you can prepare the Hot Breakfast Bowls
The secret of our new bowls: oat drink is already in the bowl mix and makes it incomparably creamy. You don't have to laboriously boil milk to prepare it, you just need water and a few minutes - your warm breakfast is ready.
That's how it's done:
- Depending on your hunger, mix 50 to 100 g rice flake mixture with twice to three times the amount of water in a saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring.
- Switch off the stove, close the lid and let it soak on the hot plate for 5 minutes.
- Stir the Hot Bowl vigorously again and pour into a bowl.
- Enjoy neat or with your favorite toppings.
One topping every day ...
With or without - that is the question? Not really. Although the bowls also taste heavenly on their own, breakfast is simply better with toppings. So what's the best part of the bowl?
Since the bowl is very filling on its own, we should look at the hot bowls - differently than with our smoothie bowls - maybe better hold something back. Granola or crunchy muesli can quickly make the bowl too heavy.
But that doesn't mean that there are limits to your imagination and creativity. Try out the following toppings and decorate your hot breakfast bowl according to your preferences:
Fresh fruits such as blueberries or raspberries are of course a must, as is the obligatory dollop of nut butter. Desiccated coconut, cocoa nibs, pistachios, chia seeds, chopped dates, almond slices, sesame or quinoapops also refine the bowl. Fruit compotes or applesauce are also good.
- For even more creaminess: Do not put a tablespoon of nut butter on the bowl, but mix directly into the finished, still warm bowl.
- Feeling a little extra today? Vegan chocolate drops in the bowl melt when you stir them and ensure a wonderfully chocolaty start to the day.
